Since 2018, David Dooghe is a board member of PlanDag, the yearly Dutch and Flemish forum on Planning.

PlanDag was initiated from the observation that known spatial professionals were always invited to tell their story in seminars and lectures. There are, however, so many other inspiring stories that are valuable to share with other Dutch and Flemish spatial professionals. During the PlanDag, these professionals, with an interesting story (from research or practice) get a forum to tell their story. Plandag also offers a place for peers to respond, as to learn from each other; that's what PlanDag is all about.

Based on overarching themes, partial sessions are set up and participants can make a contribution in the form of a paper, opinion or practice description, or take part in the conversation in one of the sessions. During a session, the authors briefly explain their contribution and, under the guidance of an inspirator, the content of the contributions is discussed, by giving similar experiences and reflect what we can learn from this. More information about PlanDag or an overview of contributions from previous years can be found on the website
